Assess required DNS records and mail routing. Schedule changes and check email authentication requirements with the selected provider.
Pilot and communicate
Test representative mailboxes, explain the transition to users and define support for access or client configuration issues.
Validate completion
Check mailbox access, agreed data, inbound and outbound mail and any required client behaviour. Confirm retention, backup and ongoing administration separately.

Share the source environment, affected users, required outcome and business constraints. Scope, tools, platform coverage and delivery responsibilities are confirmed before implementation.
